June 2014
Letter from the Chairman

Summer is one of my favorite times of the year...next to Fall, Winter and Spring!  Okay, I admit it, there are not many times of the year that I can't find something positive about. As our June luncheon speaker, Stephanie Lewis with Dale Carnegie explained, Emotional IQ plays a major role in how we perceive our surroundings and how improving our Emotional IQ can positively effect our productivity levels.  Although everyday can't be sunshine and rainbows, how we approach those stormy days directly correlates to how we get back on route to improving our Emotional IQ!

Thank you to all of the members that joined us at the Members Only Mixer held at Barriba Cantina. We had a wonderful time and look forward to doing more events like this in the future.

Sincerely,

David Uminski, CTA
2014 Chairman

Ay-yay-yay!
Good times had by all at Members Only Mixer!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the AAHA Members Only Mixer on Tuesday, June 24 at Barriba Cantina. We had a great time enjoying each other's company, listening to great country music provided by Sturchio Entertainment, taking silly photos with the Laurie and the Goen South crew and eating some tasty food from Barriba Cantina! Special thanks to our awesome board member Stephanie Farias with Texican Gifts for setting up all of our guests with some really cool goodie boxes! You rock! Thanks also to all of the goodie box sponsors listed above. We couldn't do it without you.
