August 2014
Letter from the Chairman

I'm not sure which was hotter in August...the weather or AAHA!! With the fantastic dining experience offered by Morton's Steak House, great informational speakers from Dress for Success and the 2nd Annual 5K on the Mission Reach, AAHA was on FIRE this August with fantastic events!

I would personally like to thank everyone involved in the planning and coordination of the 5K Run/Walk. The 2nd Annual AAHA 5K Run/Walk was a great success and hopefully we will see continued growth in years to come.  We will announce the official results of the 5K at Luke in September.

Have a safe and wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Sincerely,

David Uminski, CTA
2014 Chairman

AAHA 5K-Mission Accomplished
Fun Run & Walk Doubles in Size

The AAHA Board of Directors and the Community Outreach team cannot thank you enough for all of your efforts.

Thank you to the generous sponsors that donated money to fund the race. Thanks also to the 5K planning committee that donated their time and effort to planning the race, stuffing goodie bags and coordinating the day-of operations. We couldn't have done it without the support of our members. Because of all of your hard work and dedication, the AAHA 5K DOUBLED in size from the 2013 race and raised nearly $2000!

Thanks to everyone that participated and contributed. We'll see you next year!
