Greetings from the
Alamo Area Hospitality Association

September is falling away and we welcome the month of October!  Temperatures begin to decrease, leaves turn colors and drop to the ground and we embrace all of the incredible autumn activities happening in and around our great city.

Don't forget the Call for Nominations.  If you or someone you know are interested in serving on the AAHA board don't hesitate to submit theirs or your name.

Enjoy the fall and see you in October.
September luncheon at Lüke

AAHA

Thank you to our friends at Lüke for our September luncheon. Our featured guest speaker was Casandra Matej, Executive Director of the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Casandra's spoke to the attendees about the Certified Tourism Ambassador Program.  The CTA is a multi-faceted certification program that serves to inspire front-line hospitality employees and volunteers to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience.  By supporting the CTA program, San Antonio demonstrates a high level of commitment to our visitors.  Employees earn the credentials to further their career and employers benefit by boosting their customer service and employee morale.  It's a win win for our industry.

If you are interested in learning more about the program and/or serving as an Ambassador, contact Karina Alderete with the SACVB at (210) 207-6737 or click here to email her directly.
