How long have you been in your position?: One Month

What is your favorite San Antonio Restaurant?: I really like Tre Trattoria because a great friend of mine works there and it is one of those laid back places where you can really relax and enjoy a great meal, and cheese! They have great cheeses! I love cheese...

Favorite tourist attraction: San Antonio has so many fun attractions to choose from but if I had to choose one, it would be the Riverwalk because I love people watching!

Favorite Adult Beverage?: I was a bartender for 3 years, so picking ONE beverage is impossible! I tend to drink cold beer on hot days and red wine in the evenings, but I often find myself making a pitcher of Margaritas or Mai Tais for company. Something that I discovered in Mexico that I absolutely love is called a 'Carajillo' which is Liquor 43 and a shot of espresso served over ice...yum!

Favorite SA Bar?: The Brooklynite or 1919, I also love the new Tequila and Mescal bar on the river, called The Worm. On a side note, after answering two questions about alcohol I have to emphasize that I am NOT a lush...just in case you were wondering. But like any true Texas girl, I know how to have fun!

What do you like to do in your free time?: Bikram yoga and bike riding

What is most helpful about your association with AAHA?: Networking and knowing that in my own small way, I'm contributing in making my hometown an awesome place for tourists and locals alike.

What can AAHA improve upon?: Well, AAHA is committed to ensuring the success and best practices of the hospitality and tourism industry here in SA, so as long as we continue to work towards that goal, we ARE improving! I also think it's important to get San Antonio locals more involved and excited about everything San Antonio has to offer.
