It's Spring Time in SA!

Spring is an exciting time in San Antonio and an exciting time for the tourism industry.

All of our favorite theme parks are open, the weather is getting warmer and Fiesta is just around the corner.

We are so excited to tell you that we will be giving each and every one of our members an AAHA Fiesta medal! We will be distributing the Fiesta medals at the April luncheon at SeaWorld--just in time for all the Fiesta events! If you aren't able to make it to the luncheon at SeaWorld, we will mail your medal to you.

To the right is a sample of the 2013 AAHA Fiesta medal. Wear it with pride!

Additional Fiesta medals may be purchased for $5. All proceeds go to the Alamo Area Hospitality Association and support community events and funding of scholarships for local tourism students.

Viva Fiesta!

He finished T-13 here last year. Ian Poulter, currently ranked 10th in the world and winner of 15 tournaments worldwide, has committed to play in the Valero Texas Open for the first time.

"With just over 30 days remaining until the Valero Texas Open tees off, we are very encouraged by the early names that are appearing on our commitment list," said Larson Segerdahl, Executive Director of the Valero Texas Open. "This year's event is sure to provide a lot of excitement and a great social environment from which to watch many of the world's top golfers compete, right here in San Antonio."

San Antonio fans will also have the opportunity to cheer for a few of their own. Resident Jimmy Walker, who has two top-five, finishes in his first six starts this year, and Cameron Beckman, a three-time winner on the PGA TOUR, will compete.

Players have until 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, March 29 to commit to the Valero Texas Open and can withdraw at any time.

Tickets are on sale and are $15 through the tournament's Chip In for Schools program that runs through March 8. Or, fans can purchase advance daily tickets for $20 each at participating Valero Corner Stores and at ValeroTexasOpen.org through April 7.
